Understanding Circumcision

Circumcision is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of the foreskin covering the head of the penis. It is not only a common practice today but also one of the oldest known surgical procedures, with evidence of its practice dating back as far as 6000 BC.
While it is commonly performed in children, many men choose to undergo circumcision in adulthood for various medical, personal, or cultural reasons. Dr Imran Ali specialises in circumcision at all ages, providing expert care to help you achieve the best possible outcomes.
Phimosis and BXO Explained

Phimosis is when the foreskin is too tight, or the tip of the foreskin narrows and is unable to be pulled back to expose the head of the penis. Phimosis is often seen in children or young adults (primary or congenital phimosis). The condition is at its highest incidence rate before puberty. Phimosis can also happen because of injury or damage that causes the foreskin to tear (secondary or acquired phimosis).
